Rose Freyman is a genius girl who became a court magician, an elite profession, at the young age of ten. Being a court magician is a prestigious occupation that everyone admires. However, despite the honor her position carried, she was nothing more than a glorified "corporate slave." Fed up with such a life, she saved enough money to be able to live without having to work ever again and resigned. Thus began her slow life in a remote house on the frontier.
