Luca Arisaka (Gamer tag: Luca) is a gamer in college. His current obsession is the VRMMORPG called "Asterisk Online" that he plays with his college Gaming Club. His character class is called the "Beast Tamer". It's a rather unpopular choice, due to its niche playstyle and poorly balanced stats, suited for advanced gamers who want to pursue a very particular gaming experience. One day, however, a fellow club member betrays Luca, causing him to permanently lose all of the beloved monsters he raised! The de-facto leader of the club, Mitsuya Kurosawa (Gamer tag: Mitsuya), got romantically involved with all of the female members of the club, creating a harem for himself! If that wasn't enough, he plotted to banish Luca from the club as well! Luca did not remain dejected from his ejection from the club for long-- Somehow, Luca realizes that he had gained the ability to tame players, not just in-game monsters! A surprise artifact of the bug that occurred when his monsters were perma-killed. Armed with his newfound ability, Luca vows to exact his revenge on all who wronged him!
