Mi-hun is a loner. He doesn't get out of the house after his parents' deaths. But after his encounter with the mysterious raincoat wearing man from the next door that just moved in, strange things starts happening in his dull and repetitive life. He finds out that the unexplainable 'spontaneous human combustion' incidents that are happening in his town are somehow connected to that raincoat man. He can't help spying on his new neighbors, but that turns out to be the biggest mistake in his life.

Mi-hun est un solitaire. Il ne sort plus de la maison après la mort de ses parents. Mais après sa rencontre avec un mystérieux homme portant un imperméable qui vient d'emménager à côté de chez lui, des choses étranges commencent à se produire dans sa vie morne et répétitive. Il découvre que les incidents inexplicables de "combustion humaine spontanée" qui se produisent dans sa ville sont en quelque sorte liés à cet homme à l'imperméable. Il ne peut s'empêcher d'espionner ses nouveaux voisins, mais cela s'avère être la plus grosse erreur de sa vie.
