There are a number of habits that Sugimura Shinichi has in his images, however they're also humorous and have a personality to them that you'll never forget. And surely there would be no mistake in calling him top class in the manga world when it comes to his power in composing kinetic, rowdy stories. That feat is supported by his ingenuity in direction. He'll boldly use compositions, come up with images full of impact, and you'll never get bored of it no matter how many times you read it. It's a masterpiece and not letting yourself read it would be a complete waste.

The story begins with Hanzo Hattori checking on his comatose son, Shinzo. Although he knows that his son's body is alive, Hanzo laments his powerlessness in saving his son's soul. While he prays for his son's revival, Shinzo's soul flickers into his body. He tells his father that Amakusa's soul is still alive in the Makai (demon world), begging his father to stop the villain. Moments later, his soul is struck back into the Makai by Amakusa, once again leaving Shinzo's body lifeless. Enraged and in grief, he leaves to try and get his son's soul back.

After losing his father, Goro must face the new life that awaits him along with his adoptive mother, Momoko, who decides to marry the star of the Marine Stars, Hideki Shigeno, and move to Fukuoka. During the three years that Goro lives in Fukuoka, he continues playing baseball, until his shoulder, at the limit, is fractured. This special tells us a small period within these three years that could be placed between volumes 13 and 14, a story just mentioned above in the original manga.

Genjou is a monk on his way to Tenjiku (early East Asian name for India). Along the way, he happens to visit a house and meets an old couple. The couple has an adopted son, Taro Yamada, and they ask Genjou to rehabilitate Taro who makes trouble with his magical powers. Genjou takes Taro and travels with him to Tenjiku.
